Wilsons fame was surpassed by the U.S. in 2014 after she was cast in Showtimes The Affair. In this show, Wilson was Alison Lockhart who is a young, troubled girl from a dark background. The filmography of her will soon feature another film in the horror genre. The British version of The Little Stranger is an supernatural thriller, an adaptation of an Sarah Waters novel.
